清史稿卷四百三十四 列传二百二十一：
子之榛，以荫授官，补苏州府总捕同知。历以海运叙劳，晋秩道员。官江苏凡四十年，筦釐务最久。精於综覈，以剔除中饱为职志，地方利病，无不洞悉。署督粮道。历署按察使十二次、布政使二次，大吏倚之。忌者众，屡被弹劾，按治皆得白。光绪二十五年，清釐田赋，岁增漕粮十五万石、丁银二十万两。二十六年，海防戒严，省城狱囚谋变，之榛方署臬篆，出情实者骈诛之，事乃定。宣统元年，授淮扬道，未任，卒。
