宋史卷三百一十二 列传第七十一：
孝宽字令绰，以荫知桐城县。选知咸平县，民诣府诉雨伤麦，府以妄杖之。孝宽躬行田，辨其实，得蠲赋。除秘阁修撰、提点开封府界镇县。
保甲法行，民相惊言且籍为兵。知府韩维上言，乞候农隙行之。孝宽榜十七县，揭赏告捕扇惑者，民兵不敢诉，维之言不得行。入知审官东院、判刑部。
熙宁五年，迁枢密都承旨，承旨用文臣，自孝宽始。擢拜枢密直学士、签书枢密院。丁父忧，除丧，以端明殿学士知河阳，徙郓。郓有孟子庙，孝宽请于朝，得封邹国公，配享孔子。连徙镇，以吏部尚书召，道卒，年六十六。赠右光禄大夫。
