徐铎，兴化莆田人。
宋史卷三百二十九 列传第八十八：
徐铎字振文，兴化莆田人。熙宁进士第一，签书镇东军判官，绍圣末，以给事中直学士院。蹇序辰建议编类元祐诸臣章牍事状，诏铎同主之。凡一时施行文书，攈拾附著，纤悉不遗。迁礼部侍郎。铎虽云封驳，而是时凡给事中不肯书读者，辄命代行之。贡院获举人挟书，开封尹蒋之奇将以徒定罪，铎争不可，之奇为从轻比。既上省，章惇怒，罚府吏，举人竟坐刑，铎不复敢有言，众传以为笑。后议除御史中丞，或摭此事以为无所执持，乃止。
徽宗立，以龙图阁待制知青州。御史中丞丰稷论铎编类事状，率视章惇好恶为轻重，存殁名臣，横罹窜斥，序辰既放归田里，铎之罪不在其下。诏落职知湖州。崇宁中，拜礼部尚书。方议庙制，铎请增为九室。议者疑已祧之主不可复祔、铎言："唐之献祖、中宗、代宗与本朝之僖祖，皆尝祧而复，今宜存宣祖于当祧，复翼祖于已祧，礼无不称。"从之。进吏部尚书，卒。
