元史卷一百九十七 列传第八十四：
张闰，延安延长县人，隶军籍。八世不异爨，家人百余口，无间言。日使诸女诸妇各聚一室为女功，工毕，敛贮一库，室无私藏。幼稚啼泣，诸母见者即抱哺。一妇归宁，留其子，众妇共乳，不问孰为己儿，儿亦不知孰为己母也。闰兄显卒，即以家事付侄聚，聚辞曰：“叔，父行也，叔宜主之。”闰曰：“侄，宗子也，侄宜主之。”相让既久，卒以付聚。缙绅之家，自谓不如。至元二十八年，旌表其门。
又有芜湖芮世通，十世同居；峡州向存义、汴梁丁煦，八世同居。州县请于朝，并加旌美。
