张舜琴，云南石屏州人。
清史稿卷四百九十六 列传二百八十三：
张舜琴，字竹轩，云南石屏州人。举人，选昆明县训导。讲正学，尚名节，士皆敬之，擢顺宁府教授。事继母孝，迎养学舍，颜其堂曰“不冷”。监师范学校，人疑舜琴改平时宗旨，及观其学规严肃，壹准礼法，皆翕服。外国教习亦佥曰：“张先生正人。”学使叶尔恺调充学务议绅。变作，有令剪发，即夕阖户仰药死。
