张穆，平定州人。
清史稿卷四百八十五 列传二百七十二：
张穆，字石洲，平定州人。道光中，优贡生。善属文。歙县程恩泽见之，惊曰：“东京崔、蔡之匹也！”通训诂、天算、舆地之学。著蒙古游牧记，用史志体，韵士要略用编年体，论者谓二书足相埒。又以魏书地形志分并建革，一以天平、元象、兴和、武定为限，纯乎东魏之志。其雍、秦诸州地入西魏者，遂捝失踳駮不可读。乃更事排纂，书未成，其友何秋涛为补辑之。又著顾炎武、阎若璩年谱，□诗、文集。
