张神武，新建人。
明史卷二百七十一 列传第一百五十九：
神武，新建人。万历中举武会试第一。授四川都司佥书。既论死，辽左兵兴，用经略袁应泰荐，诏谕从征立功。神武率亲丁二百四十余，疾驰至广宁。会辽阳已失，巡抚薛国用固留之，不可，曰：“奉命守辽阳，非守广宁也。”曰：“辽阳殁矣，若何之？”曰：“将以歼敌。”曰：“二百人能歼敌乎？”曰：“不能，则死之。”前至辽河，遇逃卒十余万。神武以忠义激其帅，欲与还战，帅不从。乃独率所部渡河，抵首山，去辽阳十七里而军。将士不食已一日，遇大清兵，疾呼奋击，孤军无援，尽殁于阵。监军御史方震孺绘神武像，率将士罗拜，为文祭之。诏赠都督佥事，世荫千户，立祠祀之。
又有杨宗业、梁仲善者，皆援辽总兵官。宗业历镇浙江、山西。杨镐四路败后，命提兵赴援，至是父子并战死。仲善亦战死辽阳城下。宗业赠都督同知，世荫千户；仲善赠都督佥事，增世荫三级。并从祠附祀。
