张泰开，江南金匮人。
清史稿卷三百四 列传九十一：
张泰开，字履安，江南金匮人。乾隆七年进士，改庶吉士，命上书房行走。旋自编修五迁礼部侍郎。十九年，国子监学录缺员，泰开举同部侍郎邹一桂子志伊。上责其瞻徇，部议夺职，予编修，仍在上书房行走。二十年，内阁学士胡中藻为诗谤朝政，坐诛，泰开为诗序，授刻，部议夺官治罪，上特宥之，仍在上书房行走。寻复授编修。二十二年，擢通政使。三迁左都御史。三十一年，授礼部尚书。三十二年，复授左都御史。三十三年，以老乞休，上奖其勤慎，加太子少傅，赋诗饯其行。三十九年，卒，年八十六，谥文恪。
