张朝魁，辰谿人。
清史稿卷五百二 列传二百八十九：
朝魁，辰谿人，又名毛矮子。年二十馀，遇远来乞者，朝魁厚待之，乞者授以异术，治痈疽、瘰疬及跌打、损伤、危急之证，能以刀剖皮肉，去淤血於脏腑。又能续筋正骨，时有刘某患腹痛，仆地濒死，朝魁往视曰：“病在大小肠。”剖其腹二寸许，伸指入腹理之，数日愈。辰州知府某乘舆越银壶山，忽堕岩下，折髃骨，朝魁以刀刺之，拨正，傅以药，运动如常。
