金史卷九十七 列传第三十五：
岩叟，字孟弼，大节子也。大定十九年进士，调葭州司候判官，再除雄州观察判官，补尚书省令史，除大理评事，再迁监察御史、同知河东北路转运使事、中都路都转运副使、刑部员外郎、忻州刺史，以父忧去官。起复大理少卿、河北东西大名等路按察转运副使，累迁刑部侍郎，兼夔王傅，太常卿兼国子祭酒。大安三年，朝廷欲塞诸城门以为兵备，集三品官议于尚书省，岩叟曰：“塞门所以受兵，是任城而不任人。莫若遣兵择将，背城疾战。”时议多之。除镇西军节度使，移定国军。贞祐二年，改昭义，复移沁南。逾年，按察司言其年老不任边要，乃致仕，退寓洛阳，卒。
