元史卷一百五十二 列传第三十九：
好古字信甫，少读书，善属文，器识宏远，勇而有谋。父晋亨权知东平府事，严忠济承制以好古权其父军，戍宿州。戊午，奏真授行军千户，攻樊城，身中流矢，战不少却，主将旌其功，赏银百两。略扬，循泰兴、海门而还。击邵伯埭，拔之。从大军攻鄂。中统元年，还宿州，忠济命兼恩州刺史，访民瘼，革吏弊，立为条约。未几，移戍蕲县。李璮叛，据济南，宋人攻蕲，好古率兵迎击，力不敌，死之。时晋亨在济南军中，闻之，哭曰：“吾儿死得其所矣。”弟好义袭，下江淮有功。
