张夏，无锡人。
清史稿卷四百八十 列传二百六十七：
张夏，字秋韶，亦无锡人。隐居菰川之上，孝友力学。初从马世奇受经，后入东林书院，从高世泰学。积十馀年，遂入世泰之室。世泰卒，其子弟相与立夏为师，事之如世泰。汤斌抚江苏，至东林，与夏讲学，韪其言。延至苏州学宫，为诸生讲孝经、小学。退而注孝经解义、小学瀹注。
