张元翰，直隶南皮人。
清史稿卷四百九十七 列传二百八十四：
张元翰，直隶南皮人。光绪五年举人，除获鹿教谕，迁知县。方谒京师，父嗣陶时为万全教谕，卒官。元翰奔赴恸哭，几不能胜。居丧三年，悉用古礼。丧终，以知县待缺河南，奉母赴官，摄渑池、宁陵诸县。方有事于考城，而母遽卒，元翰以父母卒皆不克视终事，大痛。将归葬，自为文祭告，凭棺一恸而绝。
