张伟，字仲业，小名翠螭，太原中都人也。高祖敏，晋秘书监。伟学通诸经，讲授乡里，受业者常数百人。儒谨泛纳，勤于教训，虽有顽固不晓，问至数十，伟告喻殷勤，曾无愠色。常依附经典，教以孝悌，门人感其仁化，事之如父。性恬平，不以夷崄易操，清雅笃慎，非法不言。世祖时，与高允等俱被辟命，拜中书博士。转侍郎、大将军乐安王范从事中郎、冯翊太守。还，仍为中书侍郎、本国大中正。使酒泉，慰劳沮渠无讳。还，迁散骑侍郎。聘刘义隆，还，拜给事中、建威将军，赐爵成皋子。出为平东将军、营州刺史，进爵建安公。卒，赠征南将军、并州刺史，谥曰康，在州郡以仁德为先，不任刑罚，清身率下，宰守不敢为非。
子仲虑，太和初，假给事中、高丽副使，寻假散骑常侍、高丽使。后出为章武太守，加宁远将军。仲虑弟仲继，学尚有父风，善《仓》、《雅》、《林说》。太和中，官至侍御长，坐事徒西裔，道死。
