宋史卷四百三十一 列传第一百九十：
崔颐正，开封封丘人。与弟偓佺并举进士，明经术。颐正雍熙中为高密尉，秩满，国子祭酒孔维荐之，以为国学直讲，迁殿中丞。太宗召见，令说《庄子》一篇，赐钱五万。判监李至上言："本监先校定诸经音疏，其间文字讹谬尚多，深虑未副仁君好古诲人之意也。盖前所遣官多专经之士，或通《春秋》者未习《礼记》，或习《周易》者不通《尚书》，至于旁引经史，皆非素所传习，以是之故，未得周详。伏见国子博士杜镐、直讲崔颐正、孙奭皆苦心强学，博贯《九经》，问义质疑，有所依据。望令重加刊正，冀除舛谬。"从之。
咸平初，又有学究刘可名言诸经版本多舛误，真宗命择官详正，因访达经义者，至方参知政事，以颐正对。曰："朕宫中无事，乐闻讲诵。"翌日，召颐正于苑中，说《尚书·大禹谟》，赐以牙绯。自是日令赴御书院待对，说《尚书》至十卷。颐正年老步趋艰蹇，表求致仕，上命坐，问恤甚至，赐器币，听以本官致仕，仍充直讲，改国子博士。三年，卒，年七十九。
