弟鄯、郾、郸等六人。子璀、璜，璀子彦融，皆登进士第，历位台阁。
鄯少有文学，举进士。元和中，历监察御史。太和元年十月，自太子詹事拜左金吾卫大将军。鄯昆弟六人，仕官皆至三品。邠、郾、郸三人，知贡举，掌铨衡。冠族闻望，为时名德。
鄯太和九年冬，为左金吾大将军，无病暴亡。不旬日有训、注之乱，其乱始自金吾。君子乃知鄯之亡，崔氏积善之征也。赠礼部尚书。子瑄。
