液子论，以吏干称。天宝中自栎阳令迁司勋员外郎、濛阳太守。乾元后，历典名郡，皆以理行称。大历末，元载以罪诛，朝廷方振起淹滞，迁同州刺史。未几，为黜陟使庾何所按，废免。议者以何举奏涉于深刻，复用论为衢州刺史。秩满，寓于扬、楚间。德宗以旧族耆年，授大理卿致仕卒。
