昪字景裕。崇宁初，由谯县尉为敕令删定官，数年，至殿中少监。时乔年尹京，父子依凭蔡氏，陵轹士大夫，阴交谏官蔡居厚，使为鹰犬。以徽猷阁待制知陈州。乔年贬，昪亦谪少府少监，分司南京，未几，知应天府。
乔年卒，起复为京西都转运使，莅葺西宫及修三山新河，擢至显谟阁学士，方是时，徽宗议谒诸陵，有司预为西幸之备。昪治宫城，广袤十六里，创廊屋四百四十间，费不可胜。会髹漆，至灰人骨为胎，斤直钱数千。尽发洛城外二十里古冢，凡衣冠垄兆，大抵遭暴掘。用是迁正议大夫、殿中监，又奉命补治三陵泄水坑涧，计役四百九十万工。未几，卒，赠金紫光禄大夫、延康殿学士，谥曰恭敏。
