晋书卷九十五 列传第六十五：
孟钦，洛阳人也。有左慈、刘根之术，百姓惑而赴之。苻坚召诣长安，恶其惑众，命苻融诛之。俄而钦至，融留之，遂大宴郡僚，酒酣，目左右收钦。钦化为旋风，飞出第外。顷之，有告在城东者，融遣骑追之，垂及，忽然已远，或有兵众距战，或前有溪涧，骑不得过，遂不知所在。坚未，复见于青州。苻朗寻之，入于海岛。
