魏书卷六十一 列传第四十九 薛安都 毕众敬 沈文秀 张谠 田益宗 孟表：
孟表，字武达，济北蛇丘人也。自云本属北地，号索里诸孟。青徐内属后，表因事南渡，仕萧鸾为马头太守。
太和十八年，表据郡归诚，除辅国将军、南兖州刺史，领马头太守，赐爵谯县侯，镇涡阳。后萧鸾遣其豫州刺史裴叔业攻围六十余日，城中食尽，唯以朽革及草木皮叶为粮。表抚循将士，戮力固守。会镇南将军王肃解义阳之围，还以救之，叔业乃退。初，有一南人，自云姓边，字叔珍，携妻息从寿春投表，云慕化归国。未及送阙，便值叔业围城。表后察叔珍言色，颇疑有异，即加推核，乃云是叔业姑儿，为叔业所遣，规为内应，所携妻子并亦假妄。表出叔珍于北门外斩之，于是人情乃安。高祖嘉其诚绩，封汶阳县开国伯，邑五百户。迁征虏将军、济州刺史，为散骑常侍、光禄大夫，进号平西将军。世宗末，降平东将军、齐州刺史。延昌四年卒，年八十一。赠安东将军、兖州刺史，谥曰恭。
子崇，袭。官至昌黎、济北二郡太守。
