孟喜，东海兰陵人。
汉书卷八十八 儒林传第五十八：
孟喜字长卿，东海兰陵人也。父号孟卿，善为《礼》、《春秋》，授后苍、疏广。世所传《后氏礼》、《疏氏春秋》，皆出孟卿。孟卿以《礼经》多、《春秋》烦杂，及使喜从田王孙受《易》。喜好自称誉，得《易》家候阴阳灾变书，诈言师田生且死时枕喜膝，独传喜，诸儒以此耀之。同门梁丘贺疏通证明之，曰：“田生绝于施雠手中，时喜归东海，安得此事？”又蜀人赵宾好小数书，后为《易》，饰《易》文，以为“箕子明夷，阴阳气亡箕子；箕子者，万物方荄兹也。”宾持论巧慧，《易》家不能难，皆曰“非古法也”。云受孟喜，喜为名之。后宾死，莫能持其说。喜因不肯仞，以此不见信。喜举孝廉为郎，曲台署长，病免，为丞相椽。博士缺，众人荐喜。上闻喜改师法，遂不用喜。喜授同郡白光少子、沛翟牧子兄，皆为博士。由是有翟、孟、白之学。
