孙文德，嘉善人。咸丰十年，年八岁，贼陷嘉善，家人携出城，遇贼，相失，独至村舍。薄暮，十馀贼入舍就炊，将休矣，文德潜乞砒毒於卖药人何桂生，密启釜置之。饭熟，贼方饥，食之，毙九人。二人未食，大骇，考掠文德，奋身大骂，贼杀之。
