晋书卷七十八 列传第四十八：
群字敬林，严叔父也。有智局，志尚不羁。苏峻入石头，时匡术有宠于峻，宾从甚盛。群与从兄愉同行于横塘，遇之，愉止与语，而群初不视术。术怒，欲刃之。愉下车抱术曰："吾弟发狂，卿为我宥之。"乃获免。后峻平，王导保存术，尝因众坐，令术劝群酒，以释横塘之憾。群答曰："群非孔子，厄同匡人。虽阳和布气，鹰化为鸠，至于识者，犹憎其目。"导有愧色。仕历中丞。性嗜酒，导尝戒之曰："卿恒饮，不见酒家覆瓿布，日月久糜烂邪？"答曰："公不见肉糟淹更堪久邪？"尝与亲友书云："今年田得七百石秫米，不足了曲糵事。"其耽湎如此。卒于官。嗣子沉。
