元史卷一百六十五 列传第五十二：
孔元，字彦亨，真定人，骁勇有智略。岁丁酉，弃家从军，隶丞相史天泽麾下。戊戌，从取焦湖，围寿春，先登，拔其西堡。己亥，从征安丰，力战却敌。己酉，从围泗州，拔之。辛亥，从攻五堂山寨，俘其众以归。戊午，从攻樊城，亲王塔察儿命取樊西堡，元率死士挺枪大呼，击杀数百人，斩首十九级以献。中统元年，扈驾北征。二年，宣授管军总把。至元十一年，从伐宋，为前锋，所向克捷。十四年，进武略将军、管军千户。明年，还军北征，进武义将军、侍卫亲军千户，赐佩金符。又明年，国兵讨叛王失里木等，从行院别乞里迷失追其众至兀速洋而还。分军之半，扼其要害地，余众遂溃，获辎重牛马。帝大悦，赏赉甚厚，加宣武将军、右卫亲军总管。十九年，以疾卒。
子鹰扬袭，授昭信校尉、右卫亲军弩军千户，仍佩金符。至大元年，以疾卒。子成祖袭，延祐二年，卒。子那海袭。
