姚訚者，开元宰相崇从孙。父弇，楚州刺史。訚性豪荡，好饮谑，善丝竹。历寿安尉。素善巡，及为城父令，遂同守睢阳。累加东平太守。
巡之遣霁云、万春败贼于宁陵也，别将二十有五：石承平、李辞、陆元锽、朱珪、宋若虚、杨振威、耿庆礼、马日升、张惟清、廉坦、张重、孙景趋、赵连城、王森、乔绍俊、张恭默、祝忠、李嘉隐、翟良辅、孙廷皎、冯颜，其后皆死巡难，四人逸其姓名。
