清史稿卷四百九十七列传二百八十四：
　　周靖，江南吴县人。父茂兰，刺血上书明父顺昌冤，事具明史。靖少补诸生，事亲能尽力。茂兰卒，擗踊哭泣，丧葬悉如礼。三年不脱衰绖，不饮酒食肉。小祥，有疾作，或谓在礼得饮酒食肉，靖不可。靖素善作篆，或请题榜，亦以丧辞。
