周堪，齐人。
汉书卷八十八 儒林传第五十八：
周堪字少卿，齐人也。与孔霸俱事大夏侯胜。霸为博士。堪译官令，论于石渠，经为最高，后为太子少傅，而孔霸以太中大夫授太子。及元帝即位，堪为光禄大夫，与萧望之并领尚书事，为石显等所谮，皆免官。望之自杀，上愍之，乃擢堪为光禄勋，语在《刘向传》。堪授牟卿及长安许商长伯。牟卿为博士。霸以帝师赐爵号褒成君，传子光，亦事牟卿，至丞相，自有传。由是大夏侯有孔、许之学。商善为算，著《五行论历》，四至九卿，号其门人沛唐林子高为德行，平陵吴章伟君为言语，重泉王吉少音为政事，齐炔钦幼卿为文学。王莽时，林、吉为九卿，自表上师冢，大夫、博士，郎吏为许氏学者，各从门人，会车数百辆，儒者荣之。钦、章皆为博士，徒众尤盛。章为王莽所诛。
