周光辅，太原人。
旧五代史卷九十一（晋书） 列传六：
周光辅，太原人，后唐蕃汉马步总管、幽州节度使德威之长子也。德威，有传在《唐书》。光辅年甫十岁，补幽州中军兵马使，有成人之志，德威以牙军委之，麾下咸取决焉。及长，体貌魁伟，练于戎事。父卒，授岚州刺史，从庄宗平梁，迁检校尚书左仆射、汝州防御使，仍赐协谋定乱功臣。天成初，移汾州。四年，入为右监门卫大将军。长兴、清泰中，历陈、怀、磁三郡，继加检校司徒。高祖即位，授蔡州刺史，岁余，卒于郡，时年三十五。赠太保。光辅以功臣子，历数郡皆无滥政，竟善终于官，虽享年不永，亦可嘉也。
光辅有弟数人，光贞历义、乾二州刺史，入为诸卫将军。光逊继为蔡州刺史。光赞任青州行军司马，及杨光远叛灭，贬商州司马，会赦征还，寻卒于家。
