吴猛，豫章人。
晋书卷九十五 列传第六十五：
吴猛，豫章人也。少有孝行，夏日常手不驱蚊，惧其去己而噬亲也。年四十，邑人丁义始授其神方。因还豫章，江波甚急，猛不假舟楫，以白羽扇画水而渡，观者异之。庾亮为江州刺史，尝遇疾，闻猛神异，乃迎之，问己疾何如。猛辞以算尽，请具棺服。旬日而死，形状如生。未及大敛，遂失其尸。识者以为亮不祥之征。亮疾果不起。
