吴亮，来安人。
明史卷一百六十六 列传第五十四：
吴亮，来安人。永乐初，为旗手卫指挥佥事。宣德中，署湖广都指挥佥事。寻以右副总兵与王瑜督漕运。
英宗初，讨新淦贼有功，累进都督佥事，副授镇湖广、贵州。破普定蛮，进都督同知。平计沙苗，进右都督。方政殁于麓川，召亮还京，命为副总兵，将兵五万往讨。至云南，贼益炽，坐金齿参将张荣败不救，逮下狱。左迁都督佥事，仍佩征南副将军印，镇湖广、贵州，讨平四川都掌蛮。寻召还，视右府事。正统十一年卒。
亮姿貌魁梧，性宽简，不喜杀戮，所至蛮人怀附。好读书，至老，手不释卷。
