清史稿卷四百八十六 列传二百七十三：
叶昌炽，字鞠裳，元和人。光绪十六年进士，选庶吉士，授编修。累至侍讲，督甘肃学政，边地朴陋，昌炽校阅尽职。以裁缺归，著书终老。国变后五年，卒。著有藏书纪事诗六卷，语石十卷，邠州大佛寺题刻考二卷，均考订精确。
