南史卷三十九 列传第二十九：
瑱，字士温，绘弟也。少有行业，文藻、篆隶、丹青并为当世所称。时有荥阳毛惠远善画马，瑱善画妇人，并为当世第一。瑱妹为齐鄱阳王妃，伉俪甚笃。王为齐明帝所诛，妃追伤遂成痼疾，医所不疗。有陈郡殷蒨善写人面，与真不别，瑱令蒨画王形像，并图王平生所宠姬共照镜状，如欲偶寝。瑱乃密使媪奶示妃，妃视画仍唾之，因骂云"故宜其早死"。于是恩情即歇，病亦除差。此姬亦被废苦，因即以此画焚之。瑱仕齐，历尚书吏部郎，义兴太守。先绘卒。
