南史卷四十七 列传第三十七：
刘暄，字士穆，彭城人。及闻祏等戮，眠中大惊，投出户外。问左右："收至未？"良久意定，还坐，大悲曰："不念江，行自痛也。"遥光事起，以讨暄为名。事平，暄迁领军将军，封平都县侯。其年，茹法珍、梅虫儿、徐世标谮暄有异志。帝曰："领军是我舅，岂应有此？"世标曰："明帝是武帝同堂，恩遇如此，尚灭害都尽，舅复焉可信。"乃诛之。暄为人性软弱，当轴居政，每事让江祏，群弟不得进官。死之日，皆怨之。和帝中兴元年，赠祏卫将军，暄散骑常侍、抚军将军，并开府仪同三司，祀散骑常侍、太常卿。
