辽史卷八十六 列传第十六：
刘景，字可大，河间人。四世祖怦，即朱滔之甥，唐右仆射、卢龙军节度使。父守敬，南京副留守。景资端厚，好学能文。燕王赵延寿辟为幽都府文学。应历初，迁右拾遗、知制诰，为翰林学士。九年，周人侵燕，留守萧思温上急变，帝欲俟秋出师，景谏曰：“河北三关已陷于敌，今复侵燕，安可坐视！”上不听。会父忧去。未几，起复旧职。一日，召草赦，既成，留数月不出。景奏曰：“唐制，赦书日行五百里，今稽期弗发，非也。”上亦不报。景宗即位，以景忠实，擢礼部侍郎，迁尚书、宣政殿学士。上方欲倚用，乃书其笏曰：“刘景可为宰相。”顷之，为南京副留守。时留守韩匡嗣因扈从北上，景与其子德让共理京事。俄召为户部使，历武定、开远二军节度使。统和六年致仕，加兼侍中。卒，年六十七。赠太子太师。子慎行，孙一德、二玄、三嘏、四端、五常、六符，皆具六符传。
