冯河清，京兆人。
旧唐书卷一百二十五 列传第七十五：
冯河清者，京兆人也。初以武艺从军，隶朔方节度郭子仪，以战功授左卫大将军同正；隶泾原节度马璘，频以偏师御吐蕃，甚有杀获之功。历试太子詹事、兼御史中丞，充兵马使。建中四年，节度使姚令言奉诏率兵赴关东，以河清知兵马留后，判官、殿中侍御史姚况知州事。及令言至京师，所统兵叛，上幸奉天，河清与况闻之，乃集三军大哭，因共激励将吏，誓敦诚节，众颇义之。即时发甲仗、器械、车百余辆，连夜送行在所。时驾初迁幸，六军虽集，苍黄之际，都无戎器，及泾州甲仗至，军士大振，特诏褒其诚效，拜四镇北庭行军泾原节度使、兼御史大夫；姚况兼御史中丞、行军司马。俄加河清检校工部尚书。贼泚及姚令言累遣间谍招诱，河清辄拘而戮焉。及驾幸梁州，其将田希鉴潜通泚，使结凶党害河清。寻赠尚书左仆射，葬事官给。兴元元年，赠太子少傅。
