侯知道，灵州灵武人。
新唐书卷一百九十五 列传第一百二十：
侯知道、程俱罗者，灵州灵武人。居亲丧，穿圹作冢，皆身执其劳，乡人助者，即哭而却之。庐坟次，哭泣无节，知道七年、俱罗三年不止。知道垢尘积首，率夜半傅坟，踊而哭，鸟兽为悲号。李华作《二孝赞》表其行，曰："厥初生人，有君有亲。孝亲为子，忠君为臣。兆自天命，降及人伦。背死不义，忘生不仁。过及智就，为之礼文。至哉侯氏，创巨病殷。手足胼胝，以成高坟。夜黑飙动，如临鬼神。哭无常声，迥彻苍旻。苴斩三年，尔独终身。嗟嗟程生，其哀也均。顾后绝配，瞻前无邻。"
