侯世禄，榆林人。
明史卷二百六十九 列传第一百五十七：
侯世禄，榆林人。由世职累官凉州副总兵。辽事亟，诏擢总兵官，提兵赴援。世禄勇敢精悍，为经略熊廷弼所知。及袁应泰代廷弼，亦倚任之。天启元年，应泰议复抚顺、清河。以世禄及姜弼、梁仲善各将兵一万驻清河。未行，辽阳破，仲善阵亡，世禄、弼俱负重伤，溃围出。世禄以伤重，命立功自效。寻用为固原总兵官。六年以军政拾遗罢。明年，宁、锦告警，命率家丁赴关听调。旋命出守前屯，甫至，令以故官镇山海。崇祯元年，移镇宣府。明年冬，京师戒严，率师入卫。兵再溃，世禄被创。部卒剽民间，奔还镇。事闻，当重坐，以勤王先至，减死戍边。九年八月，京师被兵。率子弟从军，叙功免戍，还籍。廷臣多推荐，卒不复用。十六年，李自成围榆林，世禄与子拱极固守新添门。城陷，父子被执，俱不屈死。
拱极历官参将，常从总兵尤世禄破贼河曲有功。九年冬，任山海总兵官，寻谢病归。后以廷臣荐，应诏入都，与王洪、王世钦、尤世威召对中左门，未用遣归。卒与父同死。
