何佟之，庐江灊人。
梁书卷四十八 列传第四十二 儒林：
何佟之，字士威，庐江灊人，豫州刺史惲六世孙也。祖劭之，宋员外散骑常侍。父歆，齐奉朝请。佟之少好《三礼》，师心独学，强力专精，手不辍卷，读《礼》论二百篇，略皆上口。时太尉王俭为时儒宗，雅相推重。起家扬州从事，仍为总明馆学士，频迁司徒车骑参军事、尚书祠部郎。齐建武中，为镇北记室参军，侍皇太子讲，领丹阳邑中正。时步兵校尉刘瓛、征士吴苞皆已卒，京邑硕儒，唯佟之而已。佟之明习事数，当时国家吉凶礼则，皆取决焉，名重于世。历步兵校尉、国子博士，寻迁骠骑谘议参军，转司马。永元末，京师兵乱，佟之常集诸生讲论，孜孜不怠。中兴初，拜骁骑将军。高祖践阼，尊重儒术，以佟之为尚书左丞。是时百度草创，佟之依《礼》定议，多所裨益。天监二年，卒官，年五十五。高祖甚悼惜，将赠之官；故事左丞无赠官者，特诏赠黄门侍郎，儒者荣之。所著文章、《礼义》百许篇。子：朝隐、朝晦。
