任天宠，曹州定陶人。
金史卷一百五 列传第四十三：
任天宠，字清叔，曹州定陶人也，明昌二年进士，调考城主簿，再迁威戎县令。县故堡寨，无文庙学舍，天宠以废署建。有兄弟讼田者，天宠谕以理义，委曲周至，皆感泣而去。调泰定军节度判官。丁父忧，服阕，调崇义军节度判官。补尚书省令史、右三部检法司正，迁监察御史。改右司都事，迁员外郎。改左司谏，转左司郎中，迁国子祭酒。贞祐初，转秘书监兼吏部侍郎，改中都路都转运使。时京师戒严，粮运艰阻，天宠悉力营办，曲尽劳瘁，出家赀以济饥者，全活甚众。监察御史高夔、刘元规举天宠二十人公勤明敏，有材干，可安集百姓。迁户部尚书。三年，中都不守，天宠继走南京，中道遇兵，死之。谥纯肃。
