严虞惇，常熟人。
清史稿卷四百八十四 列传二百七十一：
虞惇，字赞成，常熟人。幼能背诵九经、三史。既官翰林，馆阁文字多出其手。科场狱兴，虞惇诸子是科获隽，考官蟠、宸英皆其同年友。用是罣吏议镌级，閒居数年。起大理寺寺副，平反内务府杀人移狱被诬者，累迁太仆寺少卿，卒官。著有读诗质疑。江南人刻其文曰严太仆集，以继明归太仆云。
