上官仪，陕州陕人。
旧唐书卷八十 列传第三十：
上官仪，本陕州陕人也。父弘，隋江都宫副监，因家于江都。大业末，弘为将军陈棱所杀，仪时幼，藏匿获免。因私度为沙门，游情释典，尤精《三论》，兼涉猎经史，善属文。贞观初，杨仁恭为都督，深礼待之。举进士。太宗闻其名，召授弘文馆直学士。累迁秘书郎。时太宗雅好属文，每遣仪视草，又多令继和，凡有宴集，仪尝预焉。俄又预撰《晋书》成，转起居郎，加级赐帛。高宗嗣位，迁秘书少监。龙朔二年，加银青光禄大夫、西台侍郎、同东西台三品，兼弘文馆学士如故。本以词彩自达，工于五言诗，好以绮错婉媚为本。仪既贵显，故当时多有效其体者，时人谓为上官体。仪颇恃才任势，故为当代所嫉。麟德元年，宦者王伏胜与梁王忠抵罪，许敬宗乃构仪与忠通谋，遂下狱而死，家口籍没。子庭芝，历位周王府属。与仪俱被杀。庭芝有女，中宗时为昭容，每侍帝草制诰，以故追赠仪为中书令、秦州都督、楚国公；庭芝黄门侍郎、岐州刺史、天水郡公，仍令以礼改葬。
