田雯，德州人。
清史稿卷四百八十四 列传二百七十一：
雯，字紫纶，号山姜，德州人。康熙三年进士，授中书。先是中书以赀郎充，是年始改用进士，遂为例。累迁工部郎中。督江南学政，所取士多异才。每按试，从两骡，二仆随之，戒有司勿供张。授湖广督粮道，迁光禄寺卿，巡抚江宁，调贵州。时苗、仲猖獗，粤督议会剿，雯谓：“制苗之法，犯则治之，否则防之而已，无庸动众劳民也。”议遂寝。丁忧，起补刑部侍郎，调户部，以疾归。康熙中，士祯负海内重名，其论诗主风调。雯负其纵横排奡之气，欲以奇丽抗之。有古懽堂集。
